My most important foundations skills are! 1. learning your dog to stay! it helps a lot when you need to get something and hour dog cant come right away. our you have to have your dog stay outside the store, also when you are training your other dog! when your dogs knows stay they will behave and learn how to listen to you and be patient and know there turn will be later! 2 Socialization , train your dog in every situation! go to the city , go by train , bus , let your dog get used to all different situations! let them get used to animals , traffic , train them to focus on you so they are used to be more in contact with you instead of the outsideworld! and they know they can ignore that because they have been trained around different situations. 3. impulls controle when you leave the room and there is food on the table if they have been trained to not grap it they wont! i like to have my food around and my dogs to so i trained them around food , waiting before you give your dog there food! when i got nymeria she was out of control she jumped on the counter and when i was eating something she graped it out of my hand and eate it’ i did not want that so i trained her right away thats she was not allowed and had to learn impulsecontrol! i told her to wait and she learned so fast! it was a challenge for her but now ehe can wait until i say she can eat her food! instead of going crazy. also when you play with toys your dog needs to know when you say leave it and wait instead of crabbing the toy out of your hand! it looks way better if you have a competition and you and your dog are relaxed and ready ! its good if your dog knows to be approved by you so it helps to for them to be patient and waiting for commands for you! they learn how to control themselves and are okay with waiting instead of going crazy! for me its really helpful to teach!
Pawtricks , Jumping on hind legs, Jumping into my arms
